What is the total price of everything?

The pricing is listed on the Event Details page. The total price includes your event registration through Eventbrite (which includes your CEs), PLUS your Cruise Cabin. Note that all cabin prices are based on double occupancy. Transportation to and from hotel/airport is the attendees responsibility.

What is included in your all-inclusive cruise?

This depends on which event you will be attending.  When you book your cruise cabin, your cruise travel specialist will go over this with you!

I want to bring my spouse, kids or friends can they come and how much will it cost?

Absolutely! They are more than welcome to join you on your fun learning experience. When registering your non-dental guest on Eventbrite, choose the appropriate option for either non-dental adult or for kids. The cost will vary between events, but will be listed on the Eventbrite page.

What is included in the cost of the spouse/non-dental guest ticket?

In addition to enjoying the reduced rate on the cabin, these tickets include a swag bag full of goodies, and access to all of our beyond the classroom activities and functions. This includes the premier event of the conference, the Whitening Ball as well admission to the vendor booths and various receptions and eligibility for our prize giveaways. The Dentist and Team tickets include admission to the CE courses.

What is the schedule and will I have free time?

Schedules vary for each cruise, however, there is always free time built in. Usually, when we are docked, there are classes in the am and the afternoon is free. We make certain to give ample free time for excursions and sightseeing while in ports of call.

When will the final schedule be available?

Typically, the final schedule is available up to 3 months out. Note that the schedule can change due to conflicts with the ship schedule, but we do our best to keep everything on time.

What time can I board the ship?

Boarding times for individual sailings will vary. The cruise line will provide this information on their website. When you complete your online check-in process, you will choose a time window for boarding.

What airport should I fly into?

The event details page will list the suggested airport(s), which will be nearest the port.

What hotel should I stay in?

You are free to choose any lodging option you prefer. The event details page will list the suggested hotel. It will also include a link to book a room in the Smiles at Sea block.

How to get from the airport to the hotel?

Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel. Taxi services and rideshare services such as Lyft or Uber are great options. For larger groups, you may want to consider contracting a local shuttle service.

How to get from the hotel to the ship?

Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel. Most ports have paid parking if you choose to drive yourself, and many hotels near ports have an option to leave your vehicle there. Taxi services and rideshare services such as Lyft or Uber are great options. For larger groups, you may want to consider contracting a local shuttle service.

After cruise, how to get from ship to airport, and what time would we be getting to the airport (to plan departure flight time)?

The event details page will list the scheduled time for arrival back in our port of disembarkment. We recommend to allow a minimum of 6 hours as a general rule, but you will need to take into consideration how far you need to travel to the airport, and getting through customs, as well as many unforeseen potential circumstances.

Ahoy all Smiles at Sea travelers!

Please read the following update pertaining to the October 2019 Smiles at Sea event.

As you probably have already heard, due to changes in US policy regarding travel to Cuba, all cruises to Cuba have been cancelled effective June 5th 2019. Fortunately, Royal Caribbean has already rerouted the itinerary to include Nassau, Bahamas instead of Havana, Cuba. In addition, the cruise line has decided to discount the cruise fare by 50%!! (excluding government taxes).

This is great news since the Smiles at Sea event will remain unchanged and all CE classes and activities will be held as scheduled!

If you have paid for your cruise in full, you will receive a refund to your original form of payment of the discounted amount.

If you have not yet paid for your cruise in full, your monthly payment schedule with Smiles at Sea will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the discounted amount.

You will soon receive a communication from Royal Caribbean outlining the itinerary change and the discount described above. You may also cancel your reservation for a full refund.

All cancellation requests must be received by Smiles at Sea no later than June 15, 2019.
